The one people notice
Acrylic has a depth and a polished edge no other substrate gives you. Mounted on standoffs a short distance off the wall it throws a soft shadow and reads as considered rather than functional. It is the material for reception and lobby walls, donor and recognition boards, conference room and office signage, and anywhere a visitor forms a first impression of the organisation.
An interior material, and we will say so
Acrylic belongs indoors. It is heavier than the plastics, and in sustained UV it will yellow and eventually become brittle. Anything going outside should be J-Bond or aluminum, and we would rather tell you that before you spend the money.
Four corner radii, and why the bigger ones matter
1/4" through to 1". The tighter radii simply take the edge off. The wider ones read as deliberately styled rather than de-burred, and on a lobby panel that is the difference between looking finished and looking cut to size.

Questions we get asked
Do you supply standoffs?
Tell us how you intend to mount it when you order and we will advise on hardware and hole positions. Getting the holes right before it leaves us saves a great deal of awkwardness on the wall.
Can you cut it to a shape?
Yes, contour cutting is available. Logo shapes and custom outlines both work well in acrylic.
Will it scratch?
Acrylic marks more easily than metal. In high-traffic areas keep it above hand height or choose a different material and we will tell you which.
