Two different jobs on one product
Party invitations. Usually children's parties, usually a short list, and almost always needed sooner than the parent planned. The details that matter are the date, the time it ends, the address and an RSVP number. Leaving the end time off is the most common omission and the one parents most want.
Custom birthday cards. Businesses sending cards to clients and staff on their birthdays, which is one of the cheapest pieces of goodwill going and one of the most reliably noticed. Order a stock of them once a year rather than one at a time.
If you are a business doing birthdays properly
Print a single design without a name or an age on it, in a run of fifty or a hundred, and handwrite each one as it comes up. That works out far cheaper than short runs through the year, and the handwriting is the part that makes it land.
Take a matte paper for that — it is the uncoated one, so a pen actually works on it.

Small runs are fine for a party. Tell us the number and we will price it.
Can each card have a different name?
Tell us and we will quote it. It is not on the online calculator but it is straightforward for us.
What should go on a children's party invitation?
Date, start time, end time, address, RSVP number, and anything parents need to know — fancy dress, swimming, allergies. The end time matters more than people think.
Which paper for a card people write in?
Matte. It is the uncoated option and takes pen properly. Gloss resists ink.
