The volume workhorse
Most of what a business prints does not need colour. Handouts, forms, manuals, filings, meeting packs, class sets, study materials — documents that get read, used and recycled. Printing those in black and white on economy paper is not cutting corners, it is spending the budget where it matters.
On a run of five hundred sheets the difference between black and white on 20 lb economy and full colour on a heavier stock is substantial. That money is better spent on the one document that does need to look good.
When to step up, and how far
20 lb economy is right for anything read once. The single cheapest upgrade with the most noticeable effect is 28 lb matte text — it feels like a document rather than a photocopy and costs very little more. Go beyond that only when the sheet is customer-facing.
And if a document genuinely needs colour, this same product prints it — or use color copies, which opens on colour settings. The price for a given job is the same either way; the two pages simply start you in the right place.

How cheap can this get?
20 lb economy, single sided, in volume is the lowest cost per sheet we do. Tell us the total count and we will make sure you are in the right bracket.
Double sided to save money?
Usually yes — double sided uses half the paper and is generally cheaper overall for a long document. It also makes a thick document far easier to handle.
Can I get a colour cover on a black and white document?
Yes, and it is a good way to spend a little for a lot of effect. Email us and we will quote it, since the calculator sets one option for the whole job.
Do you bind them?
Yes. Saddle stitch for lower page counts, spiral or Wire-O for manuals that need to lie flat.
Can I bring hard copies to be scanned?
Yes. Bring them to the Galleria shop and we will work from those.
