What SEG actually means
Silicone Edge Graphic. A thin silicone strip is sewn around the edge of the printed fabric, and that strip presses into a channel running around the inside of the frame. The fabric pulls drum-tight as it seats.
The result is a graphic with no visible fixings, no grommets and no border. The image runs right to the edge of the frame, which is why SEG looks built-in where a hung banner looks hung.
Why people choose it
It is the finish you see at trade shows and in retail flagships. And because the graphic is just fabric, you change the message by swapping the fabric and keeping the frame. That is far cheaper than a new display every season, and the fabric folds into a case rather than needing a van and two people.

Do I need a special frame?
Yes. SEG only works with a frame that has the silicone channel. Tell us what you have and we will make sure the graphic matches it.
Need it illuminated?
Backlit SEG uses a fabric made to diffuse light evenly across a lightbox frame.
Can I wash it?
SEG fabric generally can be, which is part of why it travels well. Check with us for the specific material before you do.
How does it pack down?
Fold it. Creases hang out once it is tensioned in the frame — that is the practical advantage over a rigid panel.
