The teenager has opinions, and that is the point
A sweet sixteen invitation is not a children's party invitation. The guest of honour is old enough to care exactly what it looks like, and generally has a very specific idea — a colour, a font, something they have seen. Getting that right is most of the job.
Bring the reference. A screenshot, a saved image, a colour they like. We will get as close as print allows and show you a proof, and we will tell you honestly where a screen colour will not translate to paper rather than letting it surprise you.
Weight does the work here
If there is one card in this range worth putting on heavy stock, it is this one. 120 lb or 130 lb feels like an event in the hand, and at a sixteenth the invitation is part of the occasion rather than just the logistics. The difference in cost across forty cards is small; the difference in how it feels is not.
The practical details
Date, time, venue, dress code and RSVP. Dress code is the one most often left off and the one most asked about — at this age it genuinely matters to the people attending.

Which size?
5" x 7" is the one most people take. It feels like an invitation rather than a note, and there is room for the design to breathe.
Can you match a colour exactly?
We will get close and show you a proof. Screens glow and paper does not, so there is always a small shift — we would rather set that expectation than surprise you.
Gloss or matte?
Gloss or satin makes photographs and strong colours pop. Matte if anyone is handwriting names on them.
Thank you cards afterwards?
Worth ordering at the same time while the design is set up. Thank you cards fold, which gives room for a proper note.
