Built for cameras, not for reading
A step and repeat is a backdrop with a logo pattern repeated across it, so that whichever way a photograph is framed or cropped, your branding is in it. The name comes from the process: guests step forward, pose, and repeat.
The repeat spacing is the entire craft of it. Too sparse and a tight portrait crop misses the logo completely, which defeats the point. Too dense and it reads as busy noise behind the subject, which photographers dislike and guests notice.
Two questions we will ask you
How many people will stand in front of it at once, and how far back the photographer will be. Those two answers set the logo size and the repeat spacing. A backdrop designed for single portraits does not work for a group of eight, and a backdrop built for groups swallows an individual.
Tell us the event and we will size it properly. It costs nothing to get right at the artwork stage and it cannot be fixed afterwards.

Questions we get asked
How big should the logos be?
It depends on the crop. Tell us whether you expect single portraits or group shots and we will size it so branding survives either.
Can we include sponsor logos?
Yes, and it is common. Multiple logos need careful spacing so none of them gets cropped out consistently — send us the list and we will lay it out.
Will it glare under a flash?
We will steer you to a finish that behaves under photography rather than one that bounces light back at the lens.
Can we reuse it?
Yes, if the branding is not date-specific. Leave the year off and it works for several events.
