A different mechanism, and a different look
A retractable rolls a graphic into a cassette. A tension fabric stand stretches a printed fabric skin over a frame instead. The fabric arrives as a sleeve, slips over the assembled frame and pulls taut, so the finished display has no visible hardware, no curl at the edges and no seam.
At 90" it is taller than most of our retractables, and because the graphic is fabric rather than a rolled banner it does not carry creases from storage. Pack it, fly with it, put it up again and it looks the same as it did the first time.
Single or double sided
Because the skin is a sleeve, double sided costs less here than you might expect — you are printing the other face of something you are already making. Worth it for any open position where people approach from both directions.
Tension fabric or retractable?
Retractables are faster to put up and cheaper to buy. Tension fabric looks better and travels better. If the display goes up once and stays, take a retractable. If it flies to shows in a case several times a year, the fabric will still look new when the rolled banner has stopped looking new.

Questions we get asked
Can the fabric be washed?
Generally yes, which is part of why it travels well. Check with us for the specific material before you do.
Will fold creases show?
They hang out once the fabric is tensioned on the frame. That is the practical advantage over a rolled banner, which keeps its creases.
Can I change the graphic later?
Yes. Keep the frame and order a new skin. Much cheaper than a whole new display.
