It does not drape. It grips.
A stretch cover is cut to the table and pulled taut over it, with the fabric hooked underneath at the corners. The result is a flat, tight surface with no pooling at the floor, no folds at the corners and nothing flapping when somebody walks past.
The table stops reading as a trestle with a cloth over it and starts reading as a piece of furniture. That is the whole product, and it is the reason it costs about $114 more than a draped throw at 6′.
Whether that is worth paying comes down to one question: will your stand be photographed, filmed, or standing next to companies who have spent money on theirs? If yes, the difference is visible from ten feet away and shows up in every image. If the table is a back-of-booth work surface, buy a draped throw and put the difference into something else.
The practical advantage nobody mentions
Because it grips the table, it stays where you put it.
A draped throw shifts all day. Somebody leans on it and drags it out of square. It slides when you pull a box from underneath. It needs straightening every hour, and by the afternoon nobody is straightening it any more. A fitted cover does none of that.
Over a three-day show that is the difference between a stand that looks as good on the last day as the first, and one that quietly stops looking looked-after by Friday lunchtime.
Sizing is not approximate here
This is the one thing to get right before ordering. A draped throw is forgiving — put a 6′ throw on an 8′ table and it looks wrong, but it goes on.
A stretch cover is cut to fit. A 6′ cover will not go onto an 8′ table at all, and an 8′ cover on a 6′ table hangs slack, which defeats the point of buying one. There is no adjusting it on the day and no improvising with clips.
So confirm the table size with the venue or the organizer in writing before you order, and if you exhibit at different venues with different tables, that is an argument for a draped throw rather than a fitted one.

Questions we get asked
No. A stretch cover fits over the whole table by design — that is what makes it tight. If you need the back open for seating and storage, an open-back draped throw is the product for that.
They can sit alongside it, but a fitted cover encloses the leg space, so it is better suited to a standing or demonstration table than one you will work at all day.
Fold it loosely and keep it out of the bottom of the crate. Stretch fabric recovers well, but pressure creases still need a steamer on low — and the point of this product is that it looks sharp, so it is worth the shelf space.
Production is 1–2 business days, but build in collection time and a day to look at it. Ordering the week before an event rather than the day before means a problem is fixable.
