Foam core with plastic faces
Ultraboard is a foam core sandwiched between smooth plastic faces. That construction makes it noticeably tougher and flatter than paper-faced foam board, while staying light enough to hang or stand without heavy fixings. It resists denting, and the faces will not soften or wrinkle in humidity the way paper does.
It is the board we reach for when a panel has to look crisp for months rather than days: exhibition and trade show panels, interior wayfinding, display and point-of-sale, backdrops, and any large flat panel that simply must not bow.
Ultraboard or polystyrene?
Same options on the order form, different material underneath. Ultraboard is thicker and considerably stiffer for its weight, and it holds a large span flat. Polystyrene is thinner and cheaper and perfectly good for smaller, shorter-term signs. If the panel is big and it has to stay flat, take Ultraboard.

Questions we get asked
Can it go outside?
Short term and under cover, yes. It is not a weather material. For exterior use take J-Bond or aluminum.
How do I hang it?
It is light enough for hook-and-loop, standoffs or simple brackets. Tell us how it is going up and we will advise.
Ultraboard or foam board?
Ultraboard for anything reused or displayed for months. Foam board for a presentation or a one-day event where light and cheap wins.
Can you cut it to a shape?
Yes, contour cutting is available.
