What aluminum composite actually is
J-Bond is two thin aluminum skins bonded either side of a solid polyethylene core. That sandwich is the entire point. You get the weather resistance and flatness of metal at a fraction of the weight of solid aluminum, and unlike plastic it will not warp, bow or soften when a Dallas summer sits on it.
For exterior signage here it is usually the right answer. Building identification, site and construction signage, directional signs in a parking lot, real estate panels that stay up for a season, tenant and suite signage, anything mounted outside that should still look square in two years.
3mm or 6mm
3mm covers most wall-mounted work and is what we quote unless there is a reason not to. 6mm for larger spans, post-mounted signs standing on their own, and anywhere wind will get behind the panel and work at it.

Questions we get asked
J-Bond or solid aluminum?
J-Bond is lighter, cheaper and handles nearly all exterior signage. Go to aluminum for parking, traffic and regulatory signs, or anywhere it has to survive a decade and the occasional knock.
J-Bond or PVC?
If it is going in full sun, J-Bond every time. PVC is the indoor and covered-area material.
Will it fade?
The panel will outlast the print. Ask us about UV laminate if the sign is in constant direct sun and the color has to hold.
Can you drill mounting holes?
Yes. Tell us your fixing centres when you order and we will do it here rather than leaving you to it on a ladder.
